John Ruggieri's award-winning work is included in collections internationally and has been shown in galleries and museums throughout the United States since 1991. John's art has been exhibited at the Boston Center for the Arts, Danforth Museum of Art, Oni Gallery, Gallery Bershad, LFL Gallery in New York, DNA Gallery in Provincetown, and as part of the Boston Drawing Project at Bernard Toale Gallery, among others.
His work has been included in a national traveling exhibition curated by Neal Benezra, Chief Curator, Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden. In 1997 he received the Jean and Kalil Gibran Award for Excellence in Art from the Copley Society in Boston, juried by Carl Belz, Director of the Rose Art Museum.
